- Criteria-based usability evaluation (inter alia on the basis of the ISO 9241-110 Ergonomics of human-system interaction – Part 110: Dialogue principles and ISO 9241-12 Ergonomics of human-system interaction – Part 12: Presentation of information)
- Interaction-centered usability tests (e.g. video observation, head-mounted and remote eye-tracking, thinking aloud, logging of physiological data (ECG, EMG, etc.), standardized questionnaires
