The Center for Usability and Risk Engineering for Medical Devices (CUREMeD) is carried by the non-profit association CeMPEG e.V., Aachen, Germany (Register sheet VR 4450). According to the last Notice of Exemption by the Tax Office Aachen-Stadt, (Tax No. 201/5907/3147), issued on November 16th, 2023 for the years 2020-2022, the CeMPEG e.V. serves exclusively non-profit purposes and according to §5 Abs. 1 Nr. 9 KStG exempted from corporate tax and – according to §3 Nr. 6 GewStG – from trade tax.
